The C800X in brief

Solar input is where the C800X gets specific: an XT60 port taking 11 to 60 V at up to 10 A, for 300 W in total. Anker's 440W Rigid panel at 39.16 V and the PS100 at 25.9 V sit inside that window, but the 57.6 V PS400 and PS200 do not. Behind the port is a 768 Wh battery with a 1,200 W AC output in a 24.03 lb case, filled from the wall at 750 W in 1 h. Anker no longer sells the C800X new in its own US store, and the nearest current options at the same 768 Wh are the BLUETTI AC70 and the EcoFlow RIVER 2 Pro. Typical jobs include a Starlink Standard at 100 W for 6.5 h to 8.7 h, or a 155 W desktop computer for 4.2 h to 63 h.

How long the C800X runs things

Times use about 85% of the rated capacity, the part left after inverter and battery losses. Each range runs from a low to a high estimate for one appliance, and the 1,200 W AC output is the cutoff: the 1,500 W electric kettle and the 1,575 W space heater are above it.

Solar panels for the C800X

Its XT60 port takes 11 to 60 V, up to 10 A and 300 W. A panel's voltage rises in the cold, so the marks below show each one at 14 F, and a pass here keeps 10% of headroom under the maximum.

Who the C800X suits

Choose it if you want to recharge from the sun and keep a 96 W laptop (6.8 h to 19 h) and a router going through an outage. Look at the EcoFlow RIVER 2 Pro when weight and wall speed matter: it is 18.2 lb and charges at 940 W, against 24.03 lb and 750 W here. Take that alternative only if 800 W of AC output is enough, because the C800X supplies 1,200 W. For a station that adds capacity later, the BLUETTI AC70 is listed as expandable and the C800X is not.

FAQ

Can the Anker SOLIX C800X use the PS400 solar panel?

In the check at 14 F, the PS400 and the PS200 at 57.6 V open-circuit come out outside the 11 to 60 V limits. The 440W Rigid panel and the PS100 stay inside, one in series each.

How long can the C800X run a sump pump?

A 1,050 W sump pump runs for 37 min to 49 min. Its 2,150 W startup draw is above the 1,200 W AC output, so startup is the bigger question.

What cable connects a panel to the C800X?

Anker's MC4 panels need an MC4 to XT60 cable. The Jackery SolarSaga 500 X uses an Anderson connector and needs an Anderson to XT60 adapter, and the SolarSaga 200 needs a DC8020 to XT60 adapter.

Is the Anker SOLIX C800X still sold?

Anker no longer sells it new in its own US store. The BLUETTI AC70 and EcoFlow RIVER 2 Pro are the 768 Wh models still current.
