The C300 in brief

Anker asks for panels with an 11 V to 28 V output on the C300's XT60 input, and that window is narrower than it sounds. Checked at 14 F, when open-circuit voltage rises, even Anker's own 100W bifacial panel (25.9 V open-circuit) falls outside it, along with the PS200, the PS400 and the 440W Rigid. What does fit is a single panel such as the EcoFlow 100W Rigid or the Jackery SolarSaga 100 Prime, and a full solar refill of 288 Wh takes 3.8 hours. Otherwise the C300 is a straightforward 300 W station with a 600 W surge rating, LFP cells rated for 3,000 cycles to 80 percent, a 5-year warranty and a 140 W USB-C port. A wall plug refills it in 0.9 hours.

How long the C300 runs things

Times use about 85% of the rated capacity, the part left after inverter and battery losses. About 245 Wh is usable and AC stops at 300 W, so a laptop at 96 W gets 2.5 h to 7 h, while an 875 W furnace blower is past its limit.

Work out your own mix of loads. A red bar means it draws more than the 300 W this station can supply.

Solar panels for the C300

Its XT60 port takes 11 to 28 V, up to 8.2 A and 100 W. A panel's voltage rises in the cold, so the marks below show each one at 14 F, and a pass here keeps 10% of headroom under the maximum.

Who the C300 suits

A fit for laptops, a router and camp lights, with a rating down to -4 F that suits a cold garage or cabin. Not for a sump pump or microwave, which both draw well over 300 W. For more output in the same class, the BLUETTI Elite 30 V2 gives 600 W and takes 200 W of solar at 9.48 lb. The Jackery Explorer 300 v2 weighs 8.16 lb against 9.1 lb here and is rated 4,000 cycles to 70 percent, though its warranty is 3 years.

FAQ

Can the Anker SOLIX C300 run a refrigerator?

A 104 W refrigerator is inside its 300 W output and runs 2.7 h to 7 h. The fridge's 1305 W startup draw is above the 600 W surge rating.

Which solar panels fit the Anker SOLIX C300?

The input window is 11 V to 28 V at up to 8.2 A. At the 14 F cold check, the Jackery SolarSaga 100 Prime, the SolarSaga 200 and the EcoFlow 100W Rigid stay inside it, one panel at a time, each with an adapter or cable to XT60. Anker's PS100, PS200, PS400 and 440W Rigid panels do not.

How fast does it charge?

0.9 hours from a wall outlet at 330 W, and 3.8 hours from solar at the full 100 W input.

What temperatures can the C300 work in?

Anker lists -4 F to 104 F.
