The C300X in brief

Pairing 300 W of AC output with a 140 W USB-C port and a 10 ms switchover, the C300X stores 288 Wh, of which 245 Wh is usable. It weighs 9.1 lb and takes 100 W of solar through an XT60 port, at 11 V to 28 V and 8.2 A. Anker says the input should stay between 11 V and 28 V, or it will damage the power station. A wall charge takes 0.9 hours at 330 W, and solar at full input takes 3.8 hours. Its operating range runs from -4 F to 104 F. The sibling C300 lists a 5-year warranty and 3,000 cycles to 80 percent.

How long the C300X runs things

Times use about 85% of the rated capacity, the part left after inverter and battery losses. Of the 245 Wh usable, a 45 W Wi-Fi router gets 5.4 h to 28 h and a 192 W chest freezer gets 6.2 h to 11 h.

Solar panels for the C300X

Its XT60 port takes 11 to 28 V, up to 8.2 A and 100 W. A panel's voltage rises in the cold, so the marks below show each one at 14 F, and a pass here keeps 10% of headroom under the maximum.

Who the C300X suits

Choose it for laptops, phones and a router during a short outage, or for a cold-weather camp where -4 F is the floor. It will not run a 1050 W sump pump or a 1500 W microwave. The BLUETTI Elite 30 V2 has 600 W of AC and takes 200 W of solar at 9.48 lb. For a lighter pack, the BLUETTI Elite 30 mini weighs 7.28 lb and is rated 6,000 cycles to 70 percent.

FAQ

How much solar can the Anker SOLIX C300X take?

Up to 100 W through an XT60 port, between 11 V and 28 V at 8.2 A. Anker says input outside 11 V to 28 V will damage the station.

Which panels stay inside that window?

At a 14 F cold check, the Jackery SolarSaga 100 Prime, the SolarSaga 200 and the EcoFlow 100W Rigid are inside it, one at a time. Anker's own PS100, PS200, PS400 and 440W Rigid panels are not.

How long does the C300X take to charge?

0.9 hours from a wall outlet at 330 W and 3.8 hours from solar.

Can it power a laptop?

Yes. A laptop at 96 W runs 2.5 h to 7 h on the AC side, and the 140 W USB-C port is rated above that.
