The RIVER 3 Plus in brief
The RIVER 3 Plus takes 220 W of solar, the highest input among the 14 stations under 300 Wh, through an XT60i port that handles 11 V to 55 V at up to 13 A. That is a lot of input for 286 Wh of LFP storage, and it explains the 1.7 hours the maker lists for a full solar refill. The AC side delivers 600 W, rising to 1,200 W for short surges, with a 10 ms switchover for UPS use. The case weighs 10.36 lb, and EcoFlow lists an operating range of 14 F to 113 F. EcoFlow also sells two add-on batteries, an EB300 and an EB600, that raise the system to 572 Wh or 858 Wh.
How long the RIVER 3 Plus runs things
Times use about 85% of the rated capacity, the part left after inverter and battery losses. With 243 Wh usable and 600 W of AC, a 192 W chest freezer lasts 6.2 h to 11 h, but anything near 875 W, like a furnace blower, gets only 17 min to 49 min.

Who the RIVER 3 Plus suits
Choose it if solar is the point and you want room to grow: a panel or two and one extra battery. It also suits an RV with a 12V fridge, which the listing puts at 26 h to 27 h. For longer loads, the RIVER 3 at 245 Wh is limited to 300 W and 110 W of solar. If you need more than 600 W of AC output, move up to a Delta-class unit instead.

Up to 220 W, within 11 V to 55 V and 13 A. Two of the 110 W, 160 W or 220 W portable panels in series stay inside the voltage window, and a 400 W rigid panel can connect alone.
Can I add more capacity to the RIVER 3 Plus?
Yes. The maker supports one Smart Extra Battery, either the EB300 at 286 Wh or the EB600 at 572 Wh. That takes the system to 572 Wh or 858 Wh.
Can the RIVER 3 Plus run a space heater?
