Jackery and Renogy sell Anderson-ended panel leads rather than plain converters.
The two plugs
| MC4 | The standard solar panel plug. Almost every rigid panel and many portable panels end in MC4 leads. Makers rate these up to 30 A. |
|---|---|
| Anderson | A genderless, color-keyed power plug family. Jackery's SolarSaga 100 Prime and 500 X panels use it. Makers rate these up to 45 A. |

FAQ
Why do no stations list an Anderson solar port?
Anderson shows up on panels, not station inputs: 0 stations have it as a solar port. Jackery's SolarSaga 100 Prime and 500 X panels use the connector, and Jackery and Renogy sell Anderson-ended leads rather than plain MC4 converters.
What limits does Jackery print for its Anderson cable?
Jackery's 10 ft Anderson Extension Cable, with 7.5 in Y Series and Y Parallel connectors, is for the SolarSaga 100 Prime and 500 X. It says total system voltage must not go above 120 V, and the Y connectors cannot join 500X or 340X panels.
How much current does an Anderson link carry?
The Anderson plug family is listed up to 45 A, but Renogy's Anderson 45A branch on its 4-in-1 cable is held to 10 A, with a 12 AWG main lead 2.4 ft long. The cable's rating, not the plug's, sets the limit.
